In Punjab, admission for 25 MBBS candidates was blocked because they had taken admission with double domicile certificates. Baba Farid University took action after a complaint was filed.

In Faridkot, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences has denied admission to 25 candidates who applied for admissions into the MBBS course on 85 percent state quota seats in Punjab. The investigation revealed that these candidates had also applied for state quota seats in other states or union territories along with Punjab. According to the university, these 25 candidates had applied for the Punjab state quota as well.
