In Chandigarh, India, police have arrested three more accused in a case of fraud involving ₹1.96 crore, where individuals posed as the company's Managing Director on WhatsApp and cheated people out of money. According to the police, the accused sent messages to the company's account officer using the MD's profile photo on WhatsApp, instructing them to transfer ₹1.96 crore to a bank account. The money was then transferred from the accused's bank accounts to the fraudsters.
