The NIA is investigating the grenade attack on the Punjab BJP office. A new FIR has been filed, and police have arrested 11 accused individuals. The names of handlers linked to Portugal, France, and Germany have also surfaced.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will now investigate the grenade attack that took place on April 1 at the Punjab BJP state headquarters located in Sector-37, Chandigarh. The Union Home Ministry had issued orders to transfer the case to the NIA on September 7. Following this, the NIA has taken over the investigation by registering a new FIR in the matter. Now, the hearing of the case will be held in the special court of the NIA. The NIA has sought records of the case from the Chandigarh district administration.
