Former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh's murder convict Balwant Singh Rajoana arrived at PGI Chandigarh today for an eye operation. Rajoana, who has been imprisoned in Patiala Central Jail for over 30 years, suffers from cataracts in both eyes. The High Court has permitted him to undergo surgery on both eyes at PGI Chandigarh.
