The Advanced Eye Center at Chandigarh PGI will be expanded with a cost of 98 crores, adding four new operation theaters and connecting them to the corridor on two floors from the old building.

The Advanced Eye Centre at Chandigarh PGI is now preparing for a major expansion to reduce the increasing pressure of patients. A new 6-story block will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 98 crore for the Advanced Eye Centre. The Union Health Ministry has already approved this project. After receiving preliminary approval from the Chandigarh Administration for the design, the detailed map has now been sent for environmental clearance.
