Punjab University (PU) and its affiliated 8 colleges in Chandigarh are holding student union elections today, August 31st. Approximately 39,000 students will vote at PU. Similarly, around 39,000 students will cast their votes for 76 candidates across the 8 colleges. Elections will be held for key positions in 6 colleges, while voting will only take place for selected positions in Dev Samaj College Sector-45 and PG Government College Sector-46. Voting will begin at 9:30 AM.
