Student union elections in 8 colleges including PU: Sloganeering outside the Law Department, students forcibly open door and enter; say voting should be stopped soon.

Voting has commenced at Punjab University (PU) and its affiliated 8 colleges in Chandigarh. Students are being allowed entry into polling booths after showing their ID cards. Outside the Law Department, students protested against the PU administration by chanting slogans. The students allege that voting was stopped early, while many students have not yet cast their votes and are standing in line. Meanwhile, several students forcibly opened doors to enter.
