Chandigarh PU election: Clashes between students and police; Students kick open door; Navjot of Khalsa College becomes head of CSF.

Voting took place at Punjab University (PU) and its affiliated 8 colleges in Chandigarh from 9:30 am to 12 pm. The counting is now underway. Navjot Singh of CSF emerged as the winner at Khalsa College in Sector-26. Prior to this, students created a ruckus outside the PU Law Department. Several students kicked open the door and entered the premises. During this time, there was a clash between the police and the students. The police removed the slogan shouting students.
