In Chandigarh, the number of voters decreased by 56,000 after the SIR (Special Integrated Registration) process, but increased by 9,927 after the draft list. The final list includes 234,000 male voters.

Ahead of the municipal corporation elections, a significant change has been observed in Chandigarh's voter list. Following a special intensive revision (SIR), the number of voters in the city has decreased by approximately 56,000. Chief Electoral Officer Prerna Puri released the final voter list figures on Tuesday. Prior to SIR, there were 516,427 registered voters in Chandigarh, while this number has now been reduced to 460,209 in the final list. This means that compared to the previous list, there are 56,218 fewer voters.
