The State Transport Authority (STA) swung into action on Wednesday after the licenses of 4 major cab aggregator companies in Chandigarh were suspended for 6 months. During checking in the city, 63 vehicles were challaned, while five vehicles were seized. A total of approximately seven and a half lakh rupees worth of challans were issued during this period. This action will continue in the future. The STA had previously warned drivers from companies whose licenses were suspended.
