Satish Poonia's Punjab visit before the alliance announcement: Don't bring bouquets and shawls to honor leaders; will hold a meeting in Chandigarh.

After becoming the state in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr. Satish Poonia is visiting Punjab for the first time. Before announcing an alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal, Poonia will hold meetings with Punjab BJP leaders to prevent any rebellion within the party at the last minute. Dr. Poonia is on a three-day visit to Punjab starting today. On the first day, he will hold a meeting with party officials in Chandigarh. Tomorrow, he will visit Jalandhar and on the last day of his tour, Amritsar.
