Elderly woman's phone stolen from train: ₹1 lakh withdrawn from her account; was traveling from Sri Ganganagar to Jaipur.

In Sri Ganganagar, a 71-year-old woman's mobile phone was stolen from the train. The thieves also committed cyber fraud of lakhs of rupees. A resident of Vinoba Basti in Sri Ganganagar, the woman was traveling with her husband on a train from Sri Ganganagar to Jaipur on September 23rd when their mobile phone was stolen. The woman and her husband searched extensively for the thief in the train compartment but could not find any trace of him. Subsequently, Rs 1 lakh 9 thousand were transferred from their phones.
