A case of online fraud involving ₹1.40 lakh has surfaced in Jaipur, India, under the guise of e-challan. Cyber fraudsters obtained bank details by sending links for e-challan payments and then hacked into mobile phones to withdraw money from accounts. The victim has filed a cyber fraud case at the Jhotwara police station. Police have stated that Deepak Kumar, a resident of Vijay Nagar, has registered an FIR under the IT Act against the fraudsters who sent the payment link to his mobile phone.
