Jewelry worth ₹1.46 crore found in Joint Director's family locker, ₹64 lakh found in 9 bank accounts; ACB caught him taking a bribe of ₹3 lakh in Ajmer.

The joint locker of the family of Jayaprakash Charan, Joint Director of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, who was arrested in connection with the ACB bribery case, has been searched. A major revelation has emerged during the ACB investigation. The ACB searched the lockers belonging to the accused's family, from which gold and silver jewelry worth approximately ₹1.46 crore were recovered. Additionally, around ₹64 lakh was found deposited in 9 bank accounts of the family. The ACB is now investigating the recovered property.
