Due to the weak monsoon, Rajasthan is facing a threat of its worst drought in 10 years. According to sources from the Meteorological Department and Disaster Management Department, 11 districts are affected by drought. The rainfall here has been up to 25% less than normal, with three districts experiencing the most severe conditions, having received less than 50% of the usual rainfall. There is a possibility that water trains may have to run in 2-3 districts next summer. Crops like millet, mung beans, and guar are likely to be severely damaged.
