In Jaipur, an SI was caught taking a bribe of 10,000 rupees. He had demanded relief in the Arms Act case and 25,000 rupees in exchange for releasing seized mobile phones.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested an SI, posted at Nahargarh police station in Jaipur, on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 PM while allegedly taking a bribe of ₹10,000. The accused policeman, Girdhari Lal, had demanded a bribe of ₹25,000 from the complainant to help him in an Arms Act case registered against him and to return his confiscated mobile phone. According to the complaint, the accused had already taken ₹5,000.
