Diwali: Seating crisis in long-distance trains: Over 100 waiting lists on several routes, increased pressure on trains going to UP and Bihar.

It has become difficult for passengers traveling from Jaipur to UP-Bihar, Bengal, and Jharkhand to get confirmed seats. More than 100 waiting lists are running on many routes, while seats are not even available on several trains. Despite the Railways running special trains during festivals, passenger load is increasing on long-distance routes. The biggest problem is for passengers traveling from Jaipur to UP-Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and the northeastern states.
