The Jhalawar District Consumer Commission has ruled against the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA). The commission has ordered the JDA to refund ₹3,83,226, along with interest, to a complainant and compensate them for mental distress and case expenses. In 2009, ASI Vishnukant had applied for a flat in Jaipur under the JDA's Affordable Housing Policy at the Jhalrapatan police station. He was allotted flat L-4/TF/16 through a lottery on August 7, 2013.
