The Deeg police have busted a large inter-state cyber fraud gang and arrested 64 people from a fake call center operating in Delhi. These include 31 young men and 33 young women. They posed as bank officials to increase credit card limits and steal confidential information such as OTPs, CVV numbers, PAN cards, Gmail IDs, date of birth, and KYC details under the guise of providing other banking facilities. Police investigation revealed that for three years, they were involved in a large-scale cyber fraud racket, stealing sensitive data from various bank accounts, including credit card details, passwords, and personal information.
