Elephant rides at Amer Palace closed for 12 days: Decision taken in view of Sharadiya Navratri fair; Palace will remain open.

The elephant ride in the Amer Palace complex in Jaipur has been suspended. This decision has been taken in view of the large number of devotees visiting the Shila Mata temple during Navratri and the fair arrangements in the Amer Palace complex, including Jaleb Chowk. According to the order issued by the Superintendent of the State Museum and Palace Amer, the elephant ride will be completely closed from October 10 to October 21, 2026. The elephant ride will not be held for 12 days.
