Jaipur Municipal Corporation Election: On the first day, 13 nominations were received, with 4 candidates claiming Congress ticket and 8 independents participating. Now, there are only 2 days left for nominations.

The nomination process for the Jaipur Municipal Corporation elections began on Thursday. From 10:15 am to 3 pm, nominations were filed at 15 different locations across the city of Jaipur in Returning Officer's offices. On the first day, 11 candidates submitted 13 nomination papers by the end of the deadline. According to a report from the District Election Branch, out of approximately 150 wards, only 9 wards (wards 148, 99, 50, 12, 14, 16, 25, 31, and 40) have received nominations.
