The Jodhpur-Indore train will run with a changed route for 16 to 18 trips: Three special trains from Jodhpur during festivals, and three trains will operate on a changed route due to yard remodeling work.

The operation of the Jodhpur-Indore-Jodhpur Express will be affected in September and October due to the patch doubling work on the Ajmer-Chanderia railway line of North Western Railway. In September, the train will operate via Ajmer-Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur instead of its scheduled route, while a total of 11 trips in both directions will be cancelled in October. Senior DCM Hitesh Yadav stated that train number 14801 Jodhpur-Indore Express will be affected from September 16th to October 3rd.
