In Rajasthan's Jaipur region, voting will take place in the first phase today starting at 7 am across 162 urban bodies (municipal corporations, municipal councils, and municipalities). In this first phase, over 5.7 million voters will decide the electoral fate of a total of 20,623 candidates. Among these, unopposed members have already been elected in 25 wards from 17 municipalities, 6 from four municipal councils, and 1 ward from one municipal corporation.
