The election campaign in Jaipur's 18 municipalities is underway: Polling parties will depart tomorrow, and the first phase of voting will take place on September 9th.

The urban bodies (municipal corporations, municipal councils, and municipalities) in Jaipur and other districts of the state where voting is scheduled to take place in the first phase have ceased their election campaigning activities today. Rallies and public gatherings for candidates were prohibited after 6 pm. Candidates can now appeal for votes by visiting individual households only. Voting in these bodies will be held on September 9th. Polling parties are set to leave tomorrow to conduct elections in 18 bodies in Jaipur.
