Only 2 days left for nominations: Over 1055 nomination papers filled on the first day; 39 candidates from 19 bodies of Jaipur district have filled the forms.

In Rajasthan, candidates have only two days left to contest elections in urban bodies (municipal corporations, municipal councils, and municipalities). The remaining two days are August 29th and 31st for filing nomination papers. On the first day, i.e., August 27th, more than 889 candidates filed over 1055 nomination papers across all districts, including Jaipur. Among them were several candidates who had been fielded by major parties (BJP, Congress).
