In Dehradun, a Creta car with the registration number SRG 13 SE 5641 was swept away by strong monsoon currents in the Kandoli area of Premnagar police station limits on Monday night. The vehicle got stuck on a bridge over a drain and was washed away for approximately two kilometers. In this accident, Kanan Sachdeva, a medical student from Tantia University in SRG, and Akshay (21) from Jaipur lost their lives. However, rescue teams successfully pulled out three other young people.
