In Rajasthan today, there is a rain alert in 20 districts: mercury above 40 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer, heavy rainfall in many places in the Udaipur division.

The Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued a rain alert for the state until September 17th. An alert has been issued in 20 districts today as well. The Udaipur division received heavy rainfall from the night of September 13th to 6 pm on September 14th. Dungarpur and Banswara received more than 4 inches of rain. A low-pressure system originating from the Bay of Bengal is active over southern Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. This has led to heavy rainfall in these areas.
