Due to the increase in water levels of rivers and streams caused by heavy rains, embankments built on several rivers in the areas of Sawai Madhopur, Baran, Bundi, and Kota were submerged. The temperature dropped 6 degrees below normal in these districts, resulting in night-like cold conditions during the day.
