Due to the lack of monsoon in the district, this time the district has recorded the lowest rainfall since 2017. From June 15th to now, the district has received only 443.30 mm of rainfall. This has also dashed the hope of the Bisalpur dam filling up for the third consecutive time. Before the monsoon, the dam had 313.49 RL meters of water, which has now increased to only 313.95 RL meters. The full reservoir level of the dam is 315.50 RL meters. As a result, there is still more than one and a half meters of water.
