Jaipur BJP councilors protest in Ajmer: Congress's Kiran and BJP's Anamika face each other in Ajmer; the Mayor will be decided on September 21st.

The deadline for withdrawal of names in the mayoral election ended on Friday, but no candidate withdrew their name. Now, on September 21st, there will be a direct contest between Congress's Kiran Garhwal and BJP's Anamika Sharma. Both parties are claiming majority and also keeping an eye on independent councilors. Out of the 80 wards in Ajmer Municipal Corporation, Congress has 37 councilors, BJP has 32, and there are 11 independent councilors.
