Lottery for Pradhan and Sarpanch on September 23-24: Will be held at Jaisalmer Collectorate Auditorium; Administrative officials have started preparations.

Administrative preparations have begun in full swing for the upcoming elections to the Panchayati Raj institutions in Jaisalmer district. Under the guidelines of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Rajasthan Jaipur, the lottery dates for reservation for Pradhan, Zilla Parishad members, Panchayat Samiti members, as well as ward panches and sarpanches of Gram Panchayats have been announced in the district. The District Collector Anupama Jorwal presided over the meeting on September 23rd.
