Jodhpur - Three women from BJP have claimed candidacy for one ward: there was intense sloganeering at the Congress office, and a total of 26 candidates filed their nominations.

So far, a total of 26 candidates have filed their nominations for the Jodhpur municipal elections. Among them, 7 are from BJP and 7 from Congress. However, BJP and Congress have not yet finalized the tickets. There are also two candidates from RLP, and the rest are independent candidates. From ward number 78 alone, three women have filed their claims from BJP. All three female contenders have also filed their nominations as independents. Meanwhile, Jitendra Singh Padihal is contesting from ward number 79.
