272 Plot Scam - ASP's broker arrested for taking a bribe of 2 crores: SOG's ASP detained; deal took place in a car, bribe taken for FIR in the case.

The ACB has arrested broker Sajjan Singh Jain for allegedly taking a bribe of ₹2 crore in the name of SOG's Additional SP Mukesh Soni, in exchange for imposing FIRs and releasing seized goods in the Udaipur Municipal Corporation's 272 plots scam. Additional SP Mukesh Soni was taken into custody from his home in Balotra late at night. ACB DIG Dr. Rameshwar Singh stated that the complainant had filed a complaint against him at the Surajpol police station regarding the 272 plots scam.
