In the largest Bangad Hospital in the district, patients are having to wait for 3-4 hours even after being discharged to go home. Due to a new tender since October, it is taking time to update Bhamashah (a health insurance scheme). As a result, both patients and their relatives are suffering. Expressing their pain about this, they demanded a solution. Ugmaram, a resident of Bansia village in Raipur tehsil, says that he gets discharged at 10 am but is not updated until 3 pm.
