With the completion of the nomination process for Mayor-Chairman elections, the faces of BJP and Congress mayoral candidates have been finalized in the state's 10 municipal corporations. The BJP has already ensured unopposed victories for its Mayors in Bharatpur and Bhilwara. It is believed that the formation of a BJP board is certain in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, and Alwar. Although Congress is close to the majority mark in Ajmer, Bikaner, and Pali, it is expected that the BJP will make inroads here as well.
