The Manatown police have exposed an interstate gang in Sawai Madhopur that defrauded women by luring them into conversations and then deceiving them with the promise of jewelry. Police arrested two members of the gang, Banti Rai and Gulshan alias Golu Rai, from Agra, while Pankaj Verma, a jeweler who bought the stolen jewelry, was apprehended from Firozabad. The gang had 5-6 members who targeted elderly and uneducated women. They would first establish trust by conversing with them.
