The team for the Eighth Pay Commission will arrive in Jaipur on the 30th. The commission will ask state employees one by one - what they need in the new pay scale.

The interim report of the Eighth Central Pay Commission is expected to be released by May-June 2027. Before that, the commission is visiting various states to seek suggestions from employees. The commission has already received several suggestions regarding fitment factor, annual salary increase, and minimum basic pay. Now, the commission's team will visit Jaipur on August 30 to further discuss these issues. Here, it will hold one-to-one meetings with 31 major employee organizations of the state. This meeting will be held in Jaipur.
