Following Bhaskar's revelation, the Medical Education Department prepared a proposal: Cancer vans in 31 districts and modern linear therapy machines in 8 medical colleges.

Following Bhaskar's special series on breast cancer, the government is now preparing to expand its range of facilities from cancer screening to treatment. To address the challenge of breast cancer screening reaching even remote villages, an additional 31 new cancer vans will be operationalized in various districts, in addition to the existing eight cancer screening vans across the state. These vans will not only conduct breast cancer screenings but also provide early detection for various types of cancers.
