Since 1994, six boards have been formed, with 12 faces serving as mayors. The same board has seen three changes in the mayor's face, culminating in Naresh Vashisht holding the general seat again in 2026. In the 32-year political history of the Jaipur Corporation, the mayor's chair has not only been a position to run the urban government but also a center for power equations, ethnic representation, and the political stature of leaders. Since the formation of the first municipal board in 1994, six electoral boards have been formed.
