A retired police officer's son and daughter-in-law have been accused of defrauding a local businessman out of ₹3.2 million by framing even the laborers who came to work at their house in the name of securing his son a government job.

A third case has been registered against a husband and wife who defrauded young people and their families of money under the guise of government jobs. The victims are Yogesh Pareek, son of a retired police officer, and his wife, Bindiya Pareek. The victim alleges that ₹7 lakh was taken in exchange for securing his son's job with the Delhi Police. Despite this, he did not get the job. When he demanded his money back, they insulted him by using casteist slurs and threatened to throw him out of the house.
