In the Congress party, apart from 346 councilors, 32 MLAs, former MLAs, and former ministers are also under investigation for cross-voting. These MLAs and former ministers belong to Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Ajmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Bharatpur, Kota, Nagaur, Ganganagar, and Bhilwara. The Congress party's poor performance in the Ajmer, Pali, and Bhilwara municipal corporations, as well as the significant number of rebellions and cross-voting in 113 bodies, have led to an investigation into these issues.
