Jaipur Corporation Mayor Election: 4 candidates in the fray: Sunil Kothari from BJP, Sunita Mahawar and Methi-Dashrath from Congress as independent candidates; Voting will be held on September 25.

Four candidates are in the fray for the Jaipur Municipal Corporation mayoral election. The nomination papers filed by these candidates were scrutinised on Monday. Four applications received on the last day of nominations were found to be correct during scrutiny. Sunil Kothari from BJP and Sunita Mawar from Congress are the candidates for the post of Mayor. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has considered two candidates, councillor Sunita Methi and Dashrath Atal, as independent candidates. Now, the deadline for withdrawal of names is September 22nd.
