In Sriganganagar, a retired employee was defrauded of ₹4.57 lakh in cyber fraud: PhonePe hacked and transactions occurred six times, but the OTP never arrived.

In Sri Ganganagar, cyber fraudsters withdrew ₹4.57 lakh from the SBI account of a retired electricity department employee. It is alleged that the fraudsters hacked PhonePe and made several transactions from the account. The special thing is that the OTP for any transaction was not received on the employee's mobile phone. The case is from the Purani Abadi police station area. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a zero-number FIR and started investigation. The check was done because the home loan installment had not been deducted.
