Potato wholesale prices have fallen, selling for ₹4 to ₹7 per kg in Jaipur's Muhana Mandi due to a bumper potato harvest. Onion prices have also dropped by ₹10 to ₹15.

In Jaipur, the bumper arrival of potatoes in the Muhana Mandi has led to a drop in wholesale prices. Potatoes, which were selling for ₹12 to ₹13 per kg last year, are now selling for ₹4 to ₹7 per kg. Every day, 100 to 125 vehicles are arriving in the Mandi with potatoes, with each vehicle carrying approximately 15 tons. Meanwhile, cold storage facilities are also overflowing with potato stock. As a result, farmers are not getting good prices for their crops. According to traders, potato prices are expected to continue to rise until December.
