Alwar - BJP claimed to have presented 40 faces for mayoral selection: Congress leaders expect cross-voting; councilors who left the blockade will arrive tomorrow to cast their votes.

Ahead of the voting for the Alwar Municipal Corporation mayoral election, around 11:30 PM on Saturday night, the BJP released a photo claiming to have 40 councilors. The photo identifies 28 party councilors and 12 independent councilors. However, due to Congress's strictness, no such photo has surfaced where they claim to be making someone their mayor of Alwar Municipal Corporation. Similarly, verbally, Congress leaders repeatedly reiterate the same claim of making someone their mayor.
