In Dholpur, 1711 houses in 44 villages will receive electricity: DISCOM has expedited the electrification work; work is ongoing in Badi, Basedi, and Sarmathura.

The work of providing electricity to the tribal areas of Dholpur district has been expedited. This work is being carried out under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA). Through this initiative, a total of 1711 households in 44 villages of Badi, Basedi, and Sarmathura tehsils will receive new electricity connections. The plan includes building an electricity infrastructure, laying service lines, and installing necessary equipment. Under this scheme, work is underway to provide electricity to 521 households in 11 villages of Badi sub-division and 406 households in Basedi sub-division.
