Ahead of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation elections, the Mali-Saini community has increased the difficulties for both the BJP and Congress. The community has announced a boycott of voting in the Civil Lines and Kishanpole assembly constituencies to protest against the alleged neglect of their political representation. The community claims that these two assembly constituencies have approximately 45,000 voters from the Saini (Mali) community who will not vote in the elections. The Mali community's claim is that due to this large number of voters, they are likely to boycott the polls.
