Hanuman Beniwal marched with farmers to Sri Ganganagar, breaking barricades at the toll gate with a tractor; the agitation was regarding the demand for irrigation water.

The farmer's movement in Ghadsana, Sri Ganganagar district, demanding irrigation water has now intensified. On Saturday night, around 9:20 pm, hundreds of farmers, led by Hanuman Beniwal, the convener of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and Nagaur MP, marched towards Sri Ganganagar. To stop the farmers, the police and administration had barricaded the toll plaza at Village 12 MD. The farmers broke through the barricades with the help of tractors.
