Following Nayara Energy, private fuel company Jio-BP has also increased the prices of petrol and diesel. The company has increased the price of petrol by ₹5 and diesel by ₹3 per liter. The new rates have come into effect from 6 am on Sunday. This increase has added an extra burden to the pockets of vehicle drivers. During the festive season, people will be traveling by their vehicles, visiting tourist destinations, and undertaking long-distance journeys.
