A smuggler who had been absconding for two years was caught sleeping: he had been hiding in 6 states and was arrested in Pali after changing 16 hideouts.

The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has arrested Bhairaram, a notorious smuggler with a reward of approximately ₹25,000 on his head, who had been absconding for nearly two years in connection with a drug smuggling case. The accused had been hiding in about 16 different locations across six states over the past two years to evade arrest. Under Operation Madbhrambar, the ANTF raided his rented house and caught him while he was sleeping, based on information gathered through intelligence and surveillance. According to the police, the accused was arrested around 15 days ago.
